looks like the positive sentiment towards the coal sector shows no signs of slowing with a lot of the american coal plays reaching record levels overnight, which is particularly impressive given the current state of general market sentiment.
there was some quite significant buying interest in CDS yesterday, could we be seeing the first signs of some of the boutique brokers taking a stake in CDS ahead of the coal driven re-rating, the buying in CDS has a lot of similarities to what happened in the early stages of the COK re-rating.
with media coverage of the recent Tasmanian Coal acquistion in the West Australian press also helping promote the company to the masses.
it will be interesting to see what happens when those larger orders start moving up to get filled.
