I must say that this has been the best thread I have read on HC with regards to average Australians thoughts on our response to this virus. There is no left or right wing moral high ground. Mistakes will be made by any leaders making policy decisions on the run and under pressure against an unknown enemy. We still have a real chance of beating this. My only hope is that we dig deep as individuals and return to the morals that this country has been built on instead of the "every man for himself" we have seen displayed over recent times. Isolating ourselves from the the world for a period would give us a common goal and could possibly bring back that mateship I grew up with and so dearly miss.
