I’m relieved to read more people are expressing their unease at how the “Leaders” are responding, showing their hand early, as to how they really think.
I just read on another thread that there are indeed other lines of thought on how we can beat this virus, and not wreck our society in the process.
The gist of it is;
Lockdown of those at risk,
Monitor the spread of the virus,
Limit the infected cases to a level that doesn’t overwhelm the health response capabilities, this being done by relaxing and regulating the level of community interaction,
End game being the herd immunity level that allows an earlier walkback of restrictions.
I can’t imagine any other way out, hopes of a vaccine are just that, we hang our hat on that and we’re toast, is there a vaccine for sars?
And what about the next virus on its way , and there will be another, and then another.
So beware the social engineers, they really are stupid, and there will never be a cure for stupid.
