The point I was making with respect to deaths per population was that with all things being equal (which they never are).
if Sweden had reached some form of herd immunity at a certain deaths per
million of population then you would expect other countries to be the same.
Spain in particular has a similar death per
population but is having a pronounced surge in deaths and cases. Surges are also being reported in France.
I wasn't promulgating an argument regarding my estimate of 0.5% mortality rate using these figures. I just looked at John Hopkins uni website and they still maintain up to 10 times the mortality rate of seasonal flu.
I think this is overstated, you obviously think it is grossly overstated.
The issues with your statistics about the last few months in European countries is that it could currently be spreading more prevalently amongst the younger demographic. Which has much lower mortality rates.
This has certainly been reported as such in the US with summer breaks from University.
