It is clear that the virus spreads very easily. We don't seem to have seen that in Qld where the weather has been mild, and people are outdoors more, every when dining.
From the last time I was in Sweden, it was entering summer and people throughout the Nordic countries were in the parks and outside restaurants. It is Summer there now.
If the infections are kept at a suppressed rate and a vaccine may be available by March, do we accept 10,000 deaths as being acceptable instead of waiting?
If there is no effective vaccine. then I don't see we have a choice.
It may be that in hindsight it may have been a better option, I am not sure it is definite yet.
