Jin Cheng attempt to modify Dathcom share register
The Company refers to its announcement dated 19 March 2024 titled 'AVZI
Successfully Defends Against Jin Cheng ICC Proceedings' regarding the Company's
successful outcome before the ICC in defending Jin Cheng's claims that the
Company did not acknowledge
Notwithstanding this outcome, Jin Cheng continues to attempt to assert its rights
to the shares purportedly transferred by Cominière in breach of the Company's
pre-emption rights.
Jin Cheng has obtained an order from the Commercial Court of Lubumbashi that it be registered as the holder of those shares in the Dathcom register notwithstanding an interlocutory motion to reopen submissions filed by
AVZI that was rejected by the court.
Accordingly, the Company has filed an appeal
against this ruling.
