At least the oil tankers aren't pictured queuing up at the scrapyard, which would be a worse sign. (Am sure there are photo's somewhere of that).
Once a tanker is built its got to float somewhere and whether there's a glut or not they'll be somewhere between the supply and the demand. So IMHO the photo's are just showing who's selling and who's buying.
