Lockheed (LMT) Wins $1.1B Deal to Supply 16 F-35 Aircraft

Lockheed Martin Corp.’s LMT business unit, Aeronautics, recently secured a modification contract for the production and delivery of 16 F-35 Lightning II aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD, has awarded the deal.Valued at $1.10 billion, the contract is expected to get completed by May 2026. The F-35 jets will be delivered to the U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps.The majority of the work related to this deal will be executed in Fort Worth, TX.
