Basically this patent is by engineers to protect a method of producing focused magnetic fields in order to detect and heat up SPIONS. It is not really a biotech invention. In this patent SPIONS are somehow ABSORBED by cancer cells. There is no selectivity in the delivery of SPIONS and this is why the focusing of the electromagnetic waves was patented, otherwise every cell that has SPIONs inside will get therminated!
