My brother-in-law owns about 9000 acres about 15kms north of Donald just up the Borung Hwy. They have swarms of locusts in their area but they are about 90% thru harvest so this shouldnt have a big impact. What they are worried about is the fact that the current situation is a perfect breeding ground for mice and they have noticed a few more than normal of the little blighters at this time of the year.
They are hoping that they dont get a repeat of the mice plague that happened about 10-15 years ago.
