    Hi Nandina,


    I will look a but further into the matter to determine what exactly is required. The statement on the letter of advice from my accountant reads the following;

    "If the total superannuation balance of any of the funds members is over $1,000,000, your SMSF is required to advise all events that occurred within the 2018 financial year to the ATO by 28th October 2018. Reporting is then required quarterly for these funds."

    also

    "If your SMSF does not have a member with a balance over $1,000,000 the due date for the lodgement of the T BAR information for the 2018 financial year is 15th May 2019 which is also the due date for lodgement of the SMSF taxation return"

    In a quick read today from the ATO site on this matter, I think I did read something similar to the above. I will have to go back into the site and have a further look.
