I would have thought that the Major Project Status (project of significance to Australian economy) awarded to Compass by the Govt should have enabled some of these matters to beed addressed quickly ... the last announcement seems like they are still being surprised by issues.
It sounds like a bit of a cash squeeze and some rsk there for a few additional months.
I hope they still have enough to get working on the 2007 drilling campaign asap ...... otherwise any delays would be a real disappoinment.

It seems like they were trying to get all of the bad / negative news out in one announcement.
I have an expectation now that they will try and follow this up with some exciting news. The Quarterly Report should be out in a few weeks and hopefully they will factor in the results of the 2006 drilling campaign into resource upgrades ..... that would be a welcome surprise.
