Because it has been going on for hundreds of years doesn't make it acceptable or right.
Not long ago it was legal and acceptable to catch a Great White shark, to run toxic waste into the town drain or even to shoot an aboriginal. I thought that the ASX was meant to be an avenue for investors to safely invest their life savings or for companies to raise capital for business and at the same time offer a safe way of trading that investment capital.
