Well, whilst I'm not happy about the current situation I put forward a view.
A handyman has an idea for a machine to wash clothes. They build a wooden roller machine which whilst it does wash and wring clothes, tends to wear out the rollers and weak springs on a regular basis.
So the concept is sound, just the handyman's garage made machine isn't up to the task. And when you think about it how many concepts are made with the best available materials? Heck even cars are made of clay first off.
So look at the current level of washing machines. Concepts mostly the same but how much better do they work.
Phil Thick has just decided the handyman version is over and it's time to do it properly.
