your employee is 30 minutes late, but 150% more productive than other workers.

your reaction: stop being late or youre fired.
Employee comes to work on time, but only does the bare minimum.

If I were an employer....

my reaction, I don't mind you being late. Just as long as you get the work done and to the standard.

Employee: is 1 hour late. But does 200% more than other workers.
