For the last 5-6 months I have been undertaking a series of strategic retreats trying to keep my head above the water. It sure has not been fun but I have managed to survive.
However, things may get really interesting if Europe cannot deal with its banking/govt debt crisis and we all know how things may end in the not too distant future. Therefor I have raised a fair amount of cash but am still holding a lot in goldies. I may sell down more if things look too hard.
Overall I could have saved myself a heap of hassles by just being in cash since March 2010.
