The problem is that over time I have come to the realization that a much larger bulk sample would need to be done and at far greater depths to know for sure if a pipe may be commercial or not, and LOM just does not have the tens of millions needed to do it properly.
When I was a holder I assumed that a jackpot of Eluvial diamonds would be found during a Kimberlite bulk sampling program, but as history has shown with Type 2A deposits, you have to go deeper and over many sections of a pipe to not miss the clusters of larger than average higher quality diamonds.
Management is doing it all wrong, they are doing it cheap rather than spend the bigger money the majors would.

Diamond pipes tend to have a homogenous dispersion of diamonds throughout the depth of a pipe.
So as long as you are within the kimberlite what is near surface is likely throughout!
