Your math is actually wrong!
You are all missing Zippy's point.
Assume no time premium as is occurring.
LOM: 0.40 x 10,000 = $40,000 (It is $4000 not $40,000)
LOMOB: 0.10 x 100,000 = $10,000
Now if LOM dropped to 0.30, then calc is:
LOM: 0.30 x 10,000 = $30,000 (It is $3000 not $30,000)
LOMOB: 0.00 x 100,000 = $0
So it actually plays out as follows:
Now if LOM dropped to 0.30, then calc is:
LOM: 0.30 x 10,000 = $3,000
LOMOB: 0.00 x 100,000 = $0
Hence:
LOM Loss = $1,000.0
LOMOB Loss = $10,000.0
not
"Loss
LOM: $40,000 - $30,000 = -$10,000 loss
LOMOB: $10,000 - $10,000 = -$10,000 loss"
So you would lose on options your entire investment without a chance to recoup it while on heads you are still in the game.
I cant believe you get 7 likes for wrong math.
Peeps, you need to be careful, stick around and lom will pay off for sure in my opinions, in short term i am uncertain.
