    Didn't realise it helped lower blood pressure ... although do realise that it has many health benefits.

    Shredded Beetroot salad with Lemon dressing, yum ... if you want to be able to eat it completely raw.

    P.S.- Best to warn "newbies" that urine has a red tinge to it after eating the beetroot and not to panic thinking they have internal bleeding.
    You have prompted me to ask get my wife to go out and buy some beetroot for me ... I starting to think I need it this week.
