Yeah, but not just any old baton. A decent hit with what looks like an extendable (telescopic) steel baton and the receiver will let out such a howl of pain, it'll freeze the blood of anybody nearby. There will be a devastatingly painful injury to the leg or arm so much so that further resistance is next to impossible. Permanent damage is likely with an effective strike.
