Agreed. If it's any consolation...I watched Joe Walsh's (LPD) presentation and it was shot in very similar fashion i.e. close up focus without references to the slides. I also had a look at Tony Barton's from KRC, his was shot from further back and had intermittent full screen pauses on specific slides in the presentation. Not sure why the media crew did so, interesting to compare though.
