as in, MAK is 2 years out from production.... according to MAK's timetable they plan to finish procurement and construction by Jun 2010... then they have to run plant commissioning, then production ramp up (to what I wonder? certainly not the 3m tonnes pa everyone is fixated on...)


it would be a more honest assessment if people allowed 3 years for any significant production volume, and it won't be full bore by then either - it never is.... there was a recent broker's estimate which indicated it will be 2012 before any real production is achieved, and that's more realistic....


it serves nobody to post information that makes it look like MAK production is around the corner - it simply isn't.... of course those who have ever been involved with volume production of anything know the real situation, others might be fooled however....
