    Agreed they both have disrupted their industries and the public has benefited from cheaper prices.
    It just rubs me the wrong way when people hold Uber up as an example of disruptive tech or a success. As a business it isn't working and is one of the worst performing companies of all time.
    Airbnb is different and as a business it is working. The market sets its own price and Airbnb take their fee regardless of that price. If an Airbnb host is happy to supply the real estate and labor, effectively provide a hotel service for cheaper than hotel rates, it doesn't matter Airbnb still profits.

    The SAS model has significantly cheaper deployment and running costs than the competition. You are right it has the potential to disrupt.
