no one today (kids) can communicate without a phone, ipad or some other gizmo
I was working in Yanchep last Thursday. Thiess (contractors to Western Power) are replacing power poles and the power gets axed. A young kid on his way home made conversation and politely asked me what time the power would be back on...I said not to worry that your ice creams won't melt and he said he wasn't worried about the ice creams...he wanted to know for when the internet would be back on!
Sign of the times...sigh.
