I guess she changed a few other things on that journey, but I’m not surprised that lemon peel was part of it - it’s got the *best* flavour!
(And how simple is good clean food? Fresh picked juicy lemons, some high quality olive oil, a bit of salt and you’re set to season and enjoy a whole host of other good food ….. …. or improve the taste and nutritional qualities of food that’s not so good)
