I think you are spot on with those views. US entities have done all they can in the past few years to limit gold as an investment and safety haven. I am sure they have orders to suppress the price, make cryptocurrency more attractive and this helps their overall transition to digital currency. Baby steps at first and then to the real deal. The geopolitical spectrum is changing so not all hope is lost yet. Let’s see if anything changes after mid term elections. If there are signs the people have had enough and vote accordingly, the powers to be may change their tune.
