From what I can see, there is still no environmental approval to export silica sand through Geraldton Port. The Port had an application to add lithium Ore and spodumene concentrate (for Liontown) approved in January this year, and would have thought it would have been logical to add silica at the same time:

Maybe the port won’t do anything until the project gets the green light from EPA?
