I’m not saying the port isn’t getting ready JB, but the environmental approval is controlled by DWER. MWPA’s application to export lithium was lodged on 31 July 2023 and only approved on 23 Jan 2024, so it’s a six month process from the time of application. Note the application was only lodged 12 months after LTR’s FID.

Have a look through the lithium approval. There is quite a lot involved including detailed technical work and public consultation. Just knowing how badly VRX have handled environmental approvals to date, you can’t just assume this is a walk in the park.
