I bought this in January and sold it very quickly for a small loss. Fundamentally it looks like a good stock but this is what the five year chart is looking like at the risk of getting thumbed down:
Depending on how you look at it, you can say the share price has declined for the past five years or you can say it declined in 2004, recovered in 2005 and 2006, and it started declining again in 2007. It is true that charts can't tell you what will happen in future but they can tell you the short, medium and long term trend of the share price. With some fundamentally good change in strategic direction, it could bounce but I would wait for that to happen rather than anticipate it. That change could be selling of the mill to Nippon allowing PPX to focus on paper merchanting.
