the cost of a shutdown and restart is horrific,human life has a value and when the cost curve for industry becomes greater than the potential cost/risk benched against the virus there will be little choice but to start turning on the taps of industry the alternative being widespread death and economic misery greating its own insurmountable problems, my bet and I am sitting on Santos now still slightly underwater , my bet is within another 6 weeks the world will start by opening industry, chains of supply including food are being severely impacted in some areas largely due to poor governance I suspect, so dont be to pessimistic we cannot remain in lockdown indefinitely and it will be a slow transition as hopefully this virus life cycle comes to an end , but be warned there will be others and the world will be different from now on, STO may well be a major Australian energy supply in the future
