" if it wasn’t for Albo and Bowen finally acknowledging that GAS is needed, we’d still be lower than that price 2 years on"
Wow it is almost like the politicians talked down the whole gas market prospects - , now realised how inflationary and inflamatory that was and are now trying to settle the market. An awakening that their power lines to nowhere doesn't get built overnight nor does the " green energy" infustructure and it all costs money . Who wouldda thought that? I wonder if all the labor union stooge supper fund managers read the tea leaves and bought big on the dip - you know not a direct interest but via international energy funds and wouldn'y be seen deal on teh register - there is a conspiracy theory that might just be true as super manager hate leaving obvious $ on teh table especially when IMO they have inside running being full of ex politicians and Canberra leaks like a................
Bowens classic of gas now being essential for peaking and transittion - hmmmm doesn't need greens an dindependents or something os going on in teh Fed arena or simply green energy companies ahve todl government they can;t / won't commit $ to Australia quick enough as opportunity elsewhere at better margins with better government support Yep tax payers are going to subsidise green energy via taxes and grants , discounted infustructure etc so that they can pay more for more expensive green energy. - that makes sense
Meanwhile somone must be pondering just how to resume the corridors required when that process normally takes years and years .....
Labor ecconomists thought inflation would help pay all this debt but forgot that only way to stop inflation its to grow ecconpmy as RBA is simply going to drive Australia close to shallow recession and too quickly.
