Yes, there has been talk, even from PLS themselves.
Problem is, other current lithium producers don't have uncontracted tonnes. Therefore BMX will largely lie in wait until existing contracts expire and other's wish to use the platform.
Why not other battery metals? I assume as per the above - producers have to have uncontracted tonnages to offer to the spot market.
It might happen, eventually - however much bigger things in PLS's future to worry about.
