    Nowhere will be safe on Monday after that US inflation result but I think the issue is one of timing rather than logic. People just aren't used to inflation.

    Sure the market gets hit during periods of high inflation but what really loses value to inflation? Cash does. That cash is losing purchasing power whereas most commercial rental agreements will have CPI related rent reviews.

    Ultimately I've hunkered down into companies that I believe have the ability to maintain or grow profits (for me that includes VCX, I sold SCG as lower yield and higher gearing) despite higher input costs but at present no one cares about that.

    For the time being everything is a sell but at some point people are going to need a solid return or they're going backwards. I'm getting 7% from my REIT entries anyway.

    But yeah, on Monday the bargains get even bigger. I still have some cash to deploy (no debt) but doesn't seem like we're at the bottom yet.
