Central Petroleum was set up by the then management around 2017 to accept a takeover by Macquarie Bank. It was however averted by the power of small shareholders largely recruited into a shareholders group led by legal advice and a strategy to pull together for the vote which without would have handed the company over at a dirt cheap price relative to its true potential.
HC shareholders used their forum to become enlightened to the above opportunity and it worked. Admittedly the SP is currently under the takeover price at 20c however it is definitely poised for correct valuation with the success regards near term activities.
If it came to shove and a prospective offer was below PAR the CTP experience could be invaluable
