I've personally just just factored in 22.5% tax into all of my spreadsheet calculations so I won't be dissappointed in the future. Anything extra I get is a bonus. Not sure if the proposed tax changes will be scrapped/delayed because of the stimulus packages. Everyone will be in a different personal situation but you could perhaps cap your selling to under $180k in any financial year to avoid the 45% bracket altogether? That will save you an extra few %. Some of the bracket increases will also be helpful.



Let's not count our chickens before they hatch though. Our patience will be tested over the next few years.
