Its a rule I don't strictly adhere to if I have greater confidence in the company fundamentals than I am seeing in the trades. Too many bots / UBS type trades which in my views clouds the true picture for a real stop loss to trigger. (I was tested when Jayne sold her shares but decided for better or worse to hang in there. Disc - I am not a trader and do not want to be hit by tax simply because I have baled on a stock because of "noise" in the market
