I should add a material fall in earnings isn't a fait accompli - like the market is pricing.
Higher interest rates are hitting heavily mortgaged households - millennials like my me. However, it's putting more money in the pocket of retirees with large cash balances. Although yes, everyone is feeling the pinch of inflation is that is starting to have a socialist country / dangerous whiff about it (combined with stock shortages). There's also high immigration which is a positive for JBH. Net net, there's a lot of uncertainty. But I'm happy to hold a company with an excellent brand, market position and track record. DYOR.
