My complaint to the ASX has been acknowledged and they have advised that:-

"If ASX has concerns about specific factors that may be affecting trading in a company’s shares and suspects that there may be a need for the company to disclose information under Listing Rule 3.1, ASX would generally raise a query. In addition, section 7.1 of Guidance Note 8 provides that an entity is not required by Listing Rule 3.1 to release its earnings projections to the market".
The complaint is still open...
