neil, that report based so much of its figures on ABS stats....if the stats are wrong the whole thing is wrong....and I rarely tell govt depts the truth about my circumstances....I tell them what they may 'like' to hear.... and as we discussed on property a week ago...they took the interest expense component out of the cpi figures since 1998 to make the cpi appear lower than it actually was.... another distortion...
