You're confusing me.
ARM sells IP to semiconductor manufacturers. ARM isn't in the business of manufacturing chips.
What you meant to say is that 1-2% royalty means nothing unless you know the price of the manufacturers chips.
Otherwise I agree with everything you and FF says.
