Sinosteel’s high-grade Beebyn and Madoonga deposits weigh in at massive 300 million tonnes of ore, which ongoing development studies speculate could host a 25-year mining operation. On a rather smaller scale, Fenix Resources Iron Ridge deposit, just 23km east of Mount Ridley’s tenure, boasts a resource of over 10 million tonnes of iron ore. Mining has already commenced at Iron Ridge, with the Fenix scheduled to begin shipping ore in early 2021.
