My thoughts are that management have a long term view of this company and are not concerned about the day to day postulations of a few disgruntled shareholders.
I'd be extremely disappointed if they bowed to the whims of these complainers. That's not the way to run a company. The way to run a company, imo, is to stay focussed on the job at hand and deal with the bigger issues.
I cannot see that it is fair either to blame management for their silence and not blame downrampers for their vocal and long winded and usually baseless downramps.
They've had hold of the microphone for far too long. Seems to me like it's been a pretty one sided argument from where I've been sitting.
They didn't cause the rain.
They don't control government policy.
These companies aren't built in a couple of months.
This isn't directed at you either Snoopy. It really does sometimes seem like people need to be told 'it won't happen overnight... but it will happen.'
BTW... if you really have concerns, why don't you ring Ian.
Here's his number: 03 9607 1322. He is very approachable.
Cheers,
