Company announcements and share prices have no direct correlation. I was recently invested in a company that was releasing at least an announcement per week and quite frankly it was embarassing ; the director bought $5000, we dug a hole next to the hole we dug last year and found more deposit, we have signed a memorandum of understanding with a company no one has ever heard of. The share price went no where.
As for the zinc price, if you are 12 days into 2015 and worried about the forecast prospects of zinc for 2015 then its going to be a harrowing 12 months. It should be noted the LME level is also drifting south, but 12 days into 2015 Im not reading much into it.
