An article in the AFR spoke about takeover premiums. Apparently, 36% has been the norm lately- that's what the MCC and MRE premiums were.
Horse, when you do intrinsic value, or just generally value a company's worth, do you take into account the price of copper, or other aspects, such as global conditions and demand (always hard to quantify that, though). As we know, during the GFC, companies fell to skeletal share price levels. Even looking at SFR, when Diggers and Dealers was on a few months back, and SFR took analysts for awalk around the tenements, the SP rose to >$8. Now it is back to $5.70. surely the Cu price has some bearing, and therefore, the intrinsic value changes over time?
