hi red,
using pc, I can confirm I experienced a loading issue with PRT.
it wanted me to send in a dig report which also popped up, with a message saying cannot connect to server.
by just leaving it, I could then cancel out of the message and use the software.
sometimes this is JAVA related type issue, either by coding or server updates on their end.
your message via Avast to me sounds like a temporary False Positive which recognises the site changes.
on pc, I know in the control panel shows a Java Icon which the settings are.
you then can also clear the Java Cache, which removes all the previous Java loadings etc.
if your Mac has some panel options or in Applications try accessing Java settings and clear this cache.
then try to log back into the site and if it still shows issues then just use the PRT contact form to advise them of login issues or the message you get via Avast.
normally they will take up to 6 -24 hours to either respond or sort out the issue, or update you to the issue.
