arrrrh ------------- I think China just might shift a few more goods on it's rail than iron to a coal place to make steel
then, of course - we would have to not only build the steel manufacturing plants - but, we would have to be able to sell the steel -------------- when places like China sell cheap steel all over the world.
I don't think detractors would be the thing that would not allow it to happen -
looking at if it would actually work would be the first thing (who do you sell it to and at what price) -
then, who would build it
seems like many decades too late to me. I suspect the days of digging stuff up at a big price are probably gone or getting close to gone - then to refine bulks - well, it's more now what developing countries do
