I respect that the company has continued surviving and advancing, that all those talented scientists have been forging ahead in the labs attempting to change the world for the better.

I want them to make it. In reality though, I have no expectations that they will.

Let's assume they solve the materials science and engineering challenges - and that there is money to make product. What is the market place (not grid solar) and who are the sellers? In other words - what is our route to putting cash from sales in the bank? Tata walked away in 2013 (metal roofing). The best partner is one who has a massive in house requirement (we had that in UK but somehow it evaporated), just as Pilkington walked. Better stop here otherwise it becomes an epistle.
