It is my understanding COP has booked it's SNE funds in it current finanical year - to allow it to pay its dividends to shareholders.
Therefore, there will come a time pretty soon that COP will need the funds that it has already booked - at which point it wil need to pre-empt in accordance with the JOA.
COP will need the money and FAR will force COPs hand in due course. FAR will then get what it wants and will either negotiate a result with COP or pre-empt in accordance with JOA
