They say a week is a long time in politics. Not in the oil space though.
I still like to think that FAR either has a sugar daddy or PE behind their decision to get the clock started. I know time is running out since we wish to commence drilling. But nothing contrary has been announced which would indicate that COP will not be part of this program. And I don't think WPL is part o the decision making process atm.
As a LTH I am not too rattled about the time it takes to sort this out. We have come too FAR to throw in the towel now. We have the big DOC in front of us in Q1. Don't think the Govt of Senegal will tolerate a deviation from this time frame.
Another week and an other opportunity to look forward to an announcement.
