Excuse me for replying on behalf of NBT. A report is being prepared currently that lists numerous issues with the Independent Expert's Report. The item you raise is quite valid, and in the Interim Financial Report (31/12/13) a provision for doubtful debts was made for $14.1m that “...relates to the June 2013 Longtom take or pay receivable which remains unpaid by Santos. Given the time that has passed, the Directors have taken a conservative approach and provided for this balance for the half year ended 31 December 2013.”
This is another Nexus asset that has slipped quietly into "accountancy heaven"!
Good work for raising this, and let everyone know of any other items you find that might not have been picked up.
